I have had this system for about 5 yrs and any time I've had trouble the product support has been awesome!! They really stand behind what they sell and would recommend this company to any one (Reviewed on 5/6/13)

I bought the classic speaker/amp set. Had to get a new amp. Mine did not work. Had to call and ask about returning it. I never dealt with people so nice. I got my replacement amp right away before they got my old one back. Nice to talk someone who speaks AMERICAN! Know what I mean?
That never happens. Skynnyrd and Stones sound great.

I have members in my motorcycle club that have J&M, Harley Davidson and Kuryakyn speakers. Out of those three, J&M has the better, louder and clearer sound. So, I had to search for speakers that can top J&M. It took me a while but I think I bought the best speakers on the market. These Pioneer speakers fit perfect on my 09 Road King Classic. I have the volume on the amp all the way up and my MP3 player a little more than half may up. At that level going 70mph on the highway and having Rhine Heart pipes, I had no problem hearing my tunes. Now I'm looking to buy a set for my wife's bike. For the price and quality, you can't go wrong. (Reviewed on 10/19/12)

I have a 2006 Fatboy. Had no problem with the install. Just snipped one of the auxiliary front light wires for the remote and pos and neg direct from the battery. Could not believe how loud at 75% at 3000 rpm and I wear a 3/4 helmet. I have a large windshield and have the speakers mounted inside the windshield on the handlebars. Tucked amp and wires in a small windshield bag. No problem. I use an iPod so do have to fiddle with volume on different tracks. (Reviewed on 9/1/12)

Great company to work with. My order arrived in Texas from Colorado in 48 hours. Instructions were easy to follow and I am glad I got the Harley T-Tap. It made everything easier. But I did not need the extra volume control because one comes with the Classic package. Also, I did not need the noise filter because the sound is great. At first I had a problem over 40 MPH. But after reading all 93 reviews twice I knew it had to be something I did wrong. I emailed Uniq and got a response back in a couple hours. I did not flip the gain switch on the end of the amplifier from off to high. Many reviewers said to be sure to turn the amplifier dial all the way up - which I did. But I forgot to move the gain switch to high. Man. What a difference! Finally, tunes for my sled. I run a 2010 Softtail Deluxe with windshield and stock pipes and the music is great at highway speeds at 75 and 80. Originally I played with the equalizers on my Sansa Clipp mp3 player and my Android phone and that helps too. Also, one other reviewer mentioned that the speakers will only put out the quality of music we put in. This is true. Some songs sound louder and better than others. Now, i am not an audiophile. But I did go back on the computer and changed the rip settings for Windows Media Player to high quality mp3 rips for better sound. But this is not the fault of the speakers because they sound great. Thirty years ago I tried the same thing with some cheap speakers I bought out of the JC Whitney catalog. And they sounded great unitl i fired up my 1980 Super Glide with drag pipes. And then I could here nothing above an idle. It was hooked up to an old FM converter. I mentioned this a few weeks ago to a fellow rider who runs a Heritage Softail and was expecting a big guffaw. But he simply said I should have had an amplifier and that many riders are adding sounds to their non-fairinged sleds. So I started to research speakers online and, like many of the other reviews, was blown away by the POSITIVE vibes of Uniq. And I am glad I went with them. I am happy. I got these speakers about a week ago. Installation was a snap. Just a recommendation, keep the settings on the amp to HIGH and the volume all the way up. Just manually control the volume on your ipod, iphone, whatever you have. The speakers have a nice crisp sound without any crackling even at max volume.. I searched and searched and actually ordered a "lesser quality" set of speakers somewhere else and was extremely displeased. Spend the little extra money and be completely satisfied with your purchase and avoid the pain in the balls of internet returns. Ive gotten many compliments on these speakers. Even installation on the handlebars isnt an eyesore. Driving 80mph-plus on the highway you can still hear the speakers clear as day... With or Without a windshield, as ive done both. For starters I have a 2003 Yamaha V Star 1100. Have cobra pipes on my bike along with a silverado windshield and a modular helmet. After hooking this stereo system up, I can hear my music loud and clear at 80mph+. There is absolutely zero distortion from these speakers. The installation is very simple. The hardest part was adding additional wiring, hiding the wire, and finding a place for the amplifier. I am very impressed with these speakers and for the price of the speaker I wanted the best quality and I received the best quality. I recommend these speakers to everyone. (Reviewed on 6/4/12)

Got them yesterday, hooked everything up today. They crank and can easily be heard cruising around, although I havent been on the highway yet, but my bike is loud and could hear it no problem at 50. I have an 01 wide glide with big shots by V&H.
Little thing I added during install was an on/off switch I picked up for 3 bucks at radio shack. I put the power wire and remote wire together on the positve terminal on the battery, hooked the switch up on the remote wire only, that way it is not running if im riding without tunes. Just dont forget to turn the switch off or your battery will die overnight [or hook it to a switched power source and it will come on and off with the key]. Overall very pleased with the quality of the speaker and its housing, very nice product for the $. (Reviewed on 5/15/12)

Located in France, I received them quickly after ordering. Installation is really easy.
Wires are long enough and amp has been installed under the seat of my RK. Chrome's quality is really good. the sound is great and I can hear perfectly and clearly music even at 90miles.

I had searched and searched and searched for speakers to put on my bike, because long trips with no music SUCKS or even worse using an iPod with earbuds and having your ears ring for 3 days after your ride is no good either. I think I had searched and read about every review on the web pertaining to speakers for bikes (and let me tell you there are a LOT). Everything I had read was mediocre at best until I came across the Uniq Cycle Sounds speakers. I think every review was 4 stars or better. Even after I read all these reviews I was still leary about getting something, I wanted to make sure I was getting a good product. I finally took the "plunge" and I am sooo glad I did. These speakers are great looking and I can hear them over my vance & hines pipes at highway speeds (which is pretty loud). Installing them was pretty easy, so just about anyone I think can install them. I broke them in on a trip to Louisiana and on the way back my friends riding in their cage said they could hear what I was listening to and I was following them home. So to stop rambling on and on....Don't mess around with anything else that is out there on the market...THESE SPEAKERS ARE ALL YOU WILL NEED!!!! 07 roadking most of the time I ride in groups of three or more I am not talking about electric bikes either I mean rip roaring loud ass harley's @ 85 mph and a 30 mph wind I had no problem not only hearing this system but singing along. I purchased this system in October 2011, but did not get around to install them until Dec 28, 2012. Our local biker shop installed them for me. Always wanted to do myself, but never could find the time. Damn these babies sound nice, of course depending on the quality of download you get. Even at 80mph with my pipes rockin, the speakers over power the wind and pipes. Overall I highly recommend them. (Reviewed on 12/31/11)

i road my Road King at 93 mph and on a windy day in Kansas and still heard the music with no problem

I just bought one from them and installed it last night. It is plenty loud and the music is crisp and clear. I bought a Shark 250W system earlier this year and was not satisfied (cheap made plastic, made in China), this one satisfies me completely. Loved the system,I am a perfectionest so if I had to be cridical,I would say there is a little distortion when its blasting although I could still here itgood going 70 with loud ass pipesand volume control thingy it comes with is cheap .. It works well but with such a high end system ya think it would have come with a volume mount controll ,maybe a little chrome volume switch like there competeters..have on there systems.. I purchased these about a year and a half ago. I had a guy at the bike shop install them (lazy) But they don't look to be real hard to install. I love these speakers. I hook my little sandisk MP3 player w/FM radio and cruise. They look like they belong on my Road King. Strong sound. Long rides I have the windshieled on and hear them. Have this for several years. Sounds Great, Make sure you have a good quailty MP3 player. 70+ mph is no issue with hearing music or radio. Compare the cost to a car stereo + speakers, good value.

I've had these speakers on my Honda VTX 1800C for about 5 years they still look and sound great. You can hear them at a high rate of speed even with loud pipes. I'm very happy with the product & most of all the price. Take J&M speaker systems have full range speakers that sound like crap and cost 500.00 to 600.00 dollars. Compare for your self. The UNiQ system is the best that I have heard on any bike. I have the Classic Edition Speaker System and the sound is incredible. Many individuals heard the sound, but claim they wanted smaller speakers. Then I ask, which bike with a fairing has 3-inch speakers? I purchased this system for my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 classic with Cobra exhaust and windshield. The system sounds great with my ipod. Easy to install. The only complaint was time to receive the system, the speaker housings were back ordered at the company so delayed my shipping. Worth the wait. I have had this set now for a couple of weeks on my Royal Star Tour Deluxe....Install was very simple and straight forward, hardest part was deciding where to place the amp. I ended up placing it in the right saddlebag. Quality of the components are excellent and sound quality is very good. Good volume, even at highway speeds. I bought the classic edition and installed on a Honda VTX 1300c with some loud vance and hines pipes. At first I was a little disappointed in the sound at higher speeds because I had to turn it up so loud to hear it that it was distorting and I was afraid it was going to damage the speakers. I changed the amp setting from low to high and played with the EQ setting in my ipod and WOW! At 75 mph I can hear the music just fine and sounds great. (Reviewed on 8/6/10)

I have this on my heritage classic with Vance&Hine long shots which are very loud and the music is perfect even at 75 mph you can here it perfect. I am very happy with the system and customer service is second to none they can't do enough to help you. So far I have 6 friends who heard the system and are going to order it and want me to help with the hook up which by the way is so easy I told them I would help its that straight toward. I bought my road king 6 years ago and have wanted to add music to it for a while now. I was impressed with the ease of installation. It took me about 2 hours but most of that was spent finding the best place to mount the amp. The system works great. I can hear it clearly in town and on the highway. The wind noise on the interstate makes it a little difficult to hear at 75 mph but overall I am very pleased with the system and love riding with tunes. (Reviewed on 6/13/10)

These speakers perform exactly as promised. Even at 80 mph+ they are crystal clear & LOUD. I was initially frustrated that the charging cable accessory I purchased didn't work, but Kris from service went out of his way to correct it for me. I searched the internet for a while for speakers, they all claim to be the best. Best sound, best look, best price etc... For the money, I can't imagine any other set playing better than these. I have several additions on my Road King but this is the best. Speakers sound and look terrific. I purchased a 2GB Sandisk Sansa MP3 player (1000 songs & FM radio) I clip it on a chrome mounting bracket, turn it on and down the road I go. Sounds great and breaks up the monotony of a long ride. I was a skeptic when I bought this system. I thought "There is no way this thing can really be loud and clear enough to hear at highway speeds, without a windshield, with an open face helmet. I was afraid to spend the money, so waited until my birthday and had somebody else spend their money... I installed it today. I AM AMAZED!! The install took a little while but when I jumped on the bike and hit the road, it was a miracle. I've had car stereos that didn't sound this good. At 65 mph, with no windshield, I can hear the system very well. Even considering the wind noise, it still sounds great. You won't be listening to songs with a lot of bass but the mid range and highs are fantastic. This is a MUST have if you plan on putting a lot of miles on your bike. I got three thumbs up and one guy walked up and asked me about it at the gas station. Good thing you mailed me a bunch of your cards as I'm sure I'll be handing many of them out. I had them install Friday, April 10, 2010, by Cycle Nation of McDonough, Georgia, an authorized Kawasaki dealer due to my bike warranty (2007 Vulcan Nomad 1600). The speakers are next to the mirrors for a perfect line looking from the front or back and the amp is installed perfectly inside my tool side upper compartment. Prior to purchasing this system, I had read all the reviews and could not believe that everyone said they could hear the sound crisp and clear at highway speeds 80 and 90+. However, after this weekend I am a believer. I listen to old school, R&B, and Blues; and the music is loud, crisp, and clear. This sound system is unbelievable. On city streets they are so good; I even have to lower the speakers. However, I never had them all the way up in the beginning. I tested the system with a MP3, iPod, and mini FM Radio. The iPod by far works the best with the amp. This is truly an awesome sound system for any bike. (Reviewed on 4/28/10)

When I first ordered these I was very frustrated, I payed for 2 day shipping, 3 weeks later still no product. I emailed them and the clamps were back ordered about a week later I got the speakers and uniq cycle covered the shipping, very pleased about that. As for the speakers I put them on the next day went on a 300 mile road trip and the speakers held up the whole way and we went to Wisconsin Dells and got looks from every direction, and the amp wasn't even up all the way. Great package deal. The sound is loud, crisp and clear. I purchased the Classic Edition system for my Road King and installed them last month. Put the amp in my high side saddle bag. The original package was missing the chrome wire casing, but no problem! I called them the next day and it was at my house quickly! Good customer service, and oh yeah, great sound at highway speed with my iPod shuffle. I purchased this system in 2006. It was the 3rd and last one I tried. The other 2 you could not hear once you were on the highway. I've never had a problem with sound quality of this one. I looked long and hard at sound systems for my Road King and even considered an aftermarket fairing so I could have my tunes. I saw the Uniq booth at B-B-Q motorcycle rally and was very impressed. I put off ordering until I could do more research on different systems. Holy Cow!! I should have just ordered this system to begin with! It took me a couple of hours to install because I'm not too mechanically inclined but it was easy. I couldn't wait to test it on the road and it blew me away. I even had a man ask me about in on my first stop. My regular MP3 player is o.k with this system but when I plugged in my iPod, my gosh it's just unbelievable. This is an awesome stereo system!!! I purchased the chrome classic edition and had it installed by my local yamaha dealer on my '08 tour deluxe. The amp fit perfectly in the small compartment between the latches in the saddlebags. The speakers fit great on top of the handle bars. I bought This set up a year ago, and the only problem I've had is with the amplifier. I've tested this system, almost at Motocross level, I ride a 1998 Low Rider Custom. Very LOUD Bike, and very well riden bike ! Lots of miles, rough terrain etc. This system holds up great ! The only problem I had is with the amplifier ! The Low/High switch, just fell off ? I'm ordering a new one, and from the new one, I should be able to repair the old one ! I have it mounted in my leather saddle bag, it's been thru cold, rain, heat, etc. and the only thing I can figure made the switch come loose is maybe vibrations. or simply just a fluke. Other then that the sound is great ! Even my brothers want to ride right behind me so they can hear the music as well, and my pipes are short shot V&H without the baffles, so yea, the bike sounds like an airplane ! I bought the classic over the weekend and went to pick them up in Loveland. The guys were great and got everything I needed. It took about an hour to get them on my Shadow. When I turned the system on my first words were" Holy S@*T!!!" I have the amp turned down to around 3 and still plenty LOUD!!! Hard to think if I can still turn the amp up. Even had a local cop pull up next to me and told me to turn it down. I did but when he was out of sight I turned it back up. I have an Ipod and Sirius satellite radio which I attached with a motorcycle bracket. I trully can not believe the power and sound of these speakers. Great price and great look. I really like my new speaker system. I ride a Suzuki Boulevard S40. Since it's a small bike (650 cc) with drag bars, I thought I was limited to using my MP3 player with earbuds. Wearing them with a helmet was not very comfortable. I'm glad I came across your site to find I did indeed have an option. I had them installed on the handlebar risers. They look good and sound good too. I also found out that I can use them with the speaker covers on and the sound still comes through. I have the in-line volume control mounted near the throttle so I can adjust it without taking my eyes off the road. Nice safety feature. It's a nice system and I'm so glad I'm not tethered to earbuds any longer. I can't wait until warm weather so I can ride longer and enjoy music while riding. (Reviewed on 1/20/10)

The speakers look great and sound even better. When I was riding from Michigan to Sturgis SD this summer these speakers made the trip a lot more enjoyable. My wife, riding on the back of the bike, had no trouble listening to the music even at 70 mph. Hooked up to my ipod which we put on the handlebar, we were able to take all our favorite music with us. Just installed my classic edition system this past weekend. They produce great sound, so far audible up to 60mph. (Haven't had a chance to try higher speeds) Fairly easy to wire only need some cheap connectors from the hardware store for the wiring. Mounted the amp in the saddle bag on my 08 Fatboy (Use velcro). FYI if you have a Fatboy the stock handle bars are bigger then the typical 1" stock handle bars, go for the 1-1/4" mounts. (Reviewed on 12/17/09)

Just installed the Classic Edition on my Road King. It is a very nice system! Sounds good and looks good! Other riders have asked me where I got the system from, they are interested in installing one on their ride. I was thinking about installing a fairing on my Road King just to have sounds, but I'm glad I went with your product instead. It saved me alot of money, and I think it looks better than a fairing. Wow, wow, wow! The system rocks! Had a 2 inch, 50 watt system that was only "cute" no volume and "0" quality. This system cranks at any speed from school zones to 100 mph. I tucked the amp in the triple tree behind the rear cover, of a Fatboy, making it totally out of sight and out of the elements. Very easy to mount in less than an hour. Could not live without this system. No more ear pieces that blow away above 50 mph and no more sore ears! Easy to control the volume with the supplied cord. (Reviewed on 11/21/09)

I just installed this new system on my 2007 Star 1300 tourer and it did not work due to a defective amplifier. I call customer service and they sent me a new one without any questions. Two days later I pluged in the new amplifier and turned up the volume.....WOW, impressive. this system delivered clean, crisp sound with no distortion. From there it was on to the freeway doing about 80 mph and still the sound belted through loud and clear. My brother took it for a road test and was so impressed that he ordered the same system that day for his Star 1300 tourer. It installed quick and easy and I was able to fit the amplifier in the corner of one of my saddle bags where it is out of sight and out of the way. I received my system today, took to my local shop and had him install it for me. The system really looks great, I was wanting to put it to the test, the interstate at 90 mph. This is the first review I have ever done. But I just couldnt help it. These speakers perform like you wouldnt believe. I installed them on a 2007 RoadKing Classic with D&D 2into1 exhaust pipes and the sound is loud and clear even at 70mph+!! I mounted the speakers on the highway bars and everyone agrees they look like they belong there. My wife said they looked like a part of the bike. Installation was simple. I mounted the amplifier inside my bags using double sided tape to avoid having to drill holes. Ran the wires out of the bags through the small gap in the corner of the bag and ran the wires under the seat. Worked out great. Couldnt be anymore satisfied with the system or price. You guys have put together a great set of products. I must say, Uniq has a unique way of standing by their products. They are a customer-oriented company, and that is amazing. I researched the popular bike sound systems before making my purchase. I wanted to accent my 08 FLHRSE with great sound, stealth appearance, and factory looks. I was impressed with one companies mini formats, but even add-on pieces did not put out the sound that I expected. I went for a classic look and a classic sound. A friend saw my system and felt that he could put this package together himself and save a little money. He ebay-ed, browsed catalogs, scouted flea markets, and brainstormed with tech centers. I bought my system a year ago. Installation was easy I just followed the directions provided. After a few months I started to experience intermittent loss of volume. when I checked my system I found that the amp was getting very hot when I turned the system on, and the the sound would fail. I contacted Uniq via E-Mail and Chris had me a new amp within a few days. I didn't ask for a new amp mind you, I was merely trying to explain what was going on so maybe they could tell me what to do. Chris immediately said he thought I had a bad amp and he was sending me a new one. He didn't mention my old amp but I sent it back to Uniq anyway. My system has performed great!! Many, Many people ask about it because the sound is so clear and I guess loud too. Many other systems out there cost more but are inferior in sound quality. I love having this system on my VTX-1800 This company stands behind their products with prompt and efficient service and that has been very refreshing. (Reviewed on 9/8/09)

I e-mailed a friend of mine who was going to buy a sound system, I told him all the info I had found, (This was a couple of weeks ago), the Bone-head wouldn't listen to me, said he was going with the "Rumble-Road" which he'd heard sooo...much about. I tried to tell him he was making a mistake, but, he just wouldn't listen. This week-end we had a chapter meeting and ride and after lunch, HE wanted to challenge me to a stereo Shoot-out !! We went to the parking lot and he turned on his, loud, it rattled, cracked, screeched, had no bass at all, real high pitch and tinny. I turned mine on, at about the same level, crisp, clear, and a lots more bass. He admitted it sounded better than his, I then cranked it up and just completely drowned his out. Unlike me he has no volume control, if he wanted that, he'd have to pay $187.00 more. He tried to blame it on me having a better MP3, I turned mine off, unplugged it, never touched a thing, and just plugged it into his, same song, same volume level, same settings, and you couldn't even understand the song, I had to reduce the volume level by 1/3 just to make it understandable. We had about 2 dozen witnesses too. He paid about $25.00 more and I have twice the system he has, I showed him the covers for the speakers, which he didn't get, and I think he now realizes he should have listened to me !!"! I chose your speakers because the Road King Custom is a model that highlights extensive chrome. Harley Davidson does not make a stereo system that is suitable for this model. Your speakers were perfect! I am not an electrician by any stretch of imagination so I was extremely nervous about installing myself. Nonetheless, I did try and found it to be extremely smooth. I recently purchased the classic edition of the stereo system for my Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. I run straight pipes on my motorcycle and I thought that there would in no way be a system that I would be able to hear on my bike. To say that I was surprised is an understatement. I could barely hear the bike on the highway over the stereo. This system is the best bang for the buck. I have heard every single competitors system for motorcycle audio and nothing comes close to this system for quality, kit completeness, and accuracy in the installation booklet. I must say that the bass response while not perfect is adequate. I mean, what kind of power can you expect from a woofer so small in a small enclosure? The point is that you can hear the bass, The others fizz and distort at about half the volume and have no bass response to begin with. Installation was straight forward. Approximately 1.5 hours for the complete install and testing. The kit that I purchased came with three business cards and I can assure you that 30 would not have been enough for me. I even gave one to a police officer who pulled me over to ask me where I bought my stereo so he could get one for his bike. The system is great. You got as much bass as you are going to get from a 4" woofer, the tonal quality the speakers can reproduce is amazaing, the kit on the bike looks fantastic and it is LOUD. There is nothing more to say. You have to get this system. You don't have to look anywhere else. Nothing touches this kit for sound OR price. Unbelievable. (Reviewed on 8/2/09)
