Back in 2003 I was cruising around on my H-D Road King and came to a stop light. Up pulled a nice Bagger with music blasting.  Now I've always liked cruisers but there is something to be said about having a great sound system to crank out some Skynyrd, AC/DC, Pantera or whatever while cruising down the freeway... So I started to think about what I could do. I knew I didn't want to trade in for a bagger so I had to figure something out. Not just for around town, but for the long hauls too. 

So research and development began.  I called up some buddies and they brought over their bikes for some testing .  This went on for quite a while and turned in to a regular weekend thing.  We had to be sure these were going to be the best and loudest motorcycle speakers out there!  Finally, we had a proto-type of the Low-Profile Edition speaker system!  The glue was a little messy, the speakers weren't quite in there and the instructions weren't yet written, but it was enough to test with!  So we slapped them on our bikes and started riding....and kept riding.  Listening to our tunes the whole way!  We must've put on 500 miles that day!  It was done, music on a Road King (and any other bike for that matter).

A product is born!  We found a reputable factory and started production on the Low-profile system in 2005 (this time in a perfectly molded package ready for consumer use (and abuse).  6 months later, the Classic Edition joined the ranks and a product line was born.
